Do you ever get over high school if your classmates treated you badly?

Like they bullied you, talked behind your back, laughed at you (you overhead their conversations about you). I remember everything these people said to me or about me when I was in high school. I don't plan on ever going to a high school reunion. Why would anyone want to see the very people that tormented you in high school.
