My husband wants me to change how I dress?

I suggest you tell him politely and firmly to back off about what you look like- if he doesn't love you just as much in a patchwork skirt as he would in a pantsuit he's a bad husband. It's not your issue if HIS self-esteem is so damaged that he's afraid of being judged by his peers because he doesn't have a Stepford wife. Keep on being who you are and he'll just have to get over it- if he wants to hang out with the type of people at work/home who would judge him or you he can do it outside of your home. Period.
