Why does pareidolia respect sectarian boundaries?

I never, ever heard of a Roman Catholic seeing the Green Man, a Pagan seeing Arabic writing spelling out a flowery compliment to God, or a Muslim seeing the Virgin Mary. Isn't that intetesting in its own right?
