Help for some quick 10 points?

ok so i was wondering why when i put on these like really good smelling fragrances on they smell weird on my skin but if i put some simple perfume or soap or lotion on when it seeps into my skin then it makes this wonderful flowery scent like freesia or rose or lavander or something like that so ya why do the simple ones make such delighful smells on me but the delightful ones make such a nasty smell on me sometimes?
